Boston Bruins (34-26-6) have 74 Points and really need to aim to close this gap in the Atlantic division. They have Toronto breathing down their cups and chasing them by 2 points. Bruins face-off against the Red Wings tonight, a team that is last in the Atlantic but always brings the Bruins a challenge. Red Wings won via shootout in mid-January with a 6-5 score in Detroit.
Tonight they both play on NBC at 8pm, a prime-time game on national stage labeled Rivalry Night. The Bruins under Bruce Cassidy’s reign this go-around are looking to fire back with a win on home ice. The Bruins need these points! In addition to an uphill battle, Bruins will be without Ryan Spooner (concussion) their 3rd line center who just started clicking with Vatrano and Stafford. Austin Czarnik was called up from good ol’ Providence to help fill the void. They have 15 games left and 6 of the teams they are playing against are all fighting for playoff spots. We need to Keep Toronto down..
The NHL season is winding down and there is a tight race for 2nd place in all 4 divisions. These are the leader-boards currently — you can see which teams are running away with it and which teams are gonna come out fighting their asses off.

If the Playoffs started today we’d be paying Ottawa, we’re down 0-2 in the season series with them this year and play awful when we go there. We see them twice more this year both at the garden, once on March 21st and again as the second to last game on April 6th. Strap in this will be a wild ride to the end.
